ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$70,000 - $90,000, DOE
PROJECT LOCATION
On-site in Faribault, MN (occasionally in Burnsville, MN)
Upon project completion (TBD), transition to on-site in our Brooklyn Park, MN, office
JOB SUMMARY
As an Electrical Engineer in Faribault/Brooklyn Park, MN, you will: create and update drawings using AutoCAD Electrical; follow applicable electrical engineering standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A) to ensure safety and compliance; source various electrical components; find and retrieve documents within EPICOR; collaborate with colleagues to advance project tasks; have proficiency with standard equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical required
- A minimum of two years of previous engineering experience required
- Knowledge of requirements from the National Electrical Code and derivative standards and codes for grid-connected systems preferred
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems, including inverter and battery-based systems, preferred
- Proficiency with other electrical design software, such as EPLAN or Solidworks Electrical, a plus
