ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$68,000 - $80,000, DOE
PROJECT LOCATION
Onsite - Fargo, ND
JOB SUMMARY
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you may: develop embedded software for telematics and other electrical systems; maintain and develop new software for existing and new electrical system controllers; develop, perform, and document software unit or functional tests in a simulation, lab, or field environment; maintain and create requirement documentation for systems and controllers; continuously develop software process improvements; utilize software development lifecycle to ensure quality development of embedded software products and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science required
- FreeRTOS/RTOS development experience required
- MATLAB, SIMULINK, and C/C++ software experience required
- 2+ year(s) of professional experience required; internships and co-ops can be considered for this role
- Experience with AWS preferred
- Experience with cellular communications a plus
